viscom: mock-up of vinyl design

Edvard Grieg

Holberg Suite for Piano, Op.40: No.1, Prelude
-continuous, overlapping notes in background with main melody
-repetition of same build-up three times
-song depends on swelling of melody for emphasis

light - upbeat and cheery
incessant - no rest throughout song
rolling - back and forth nature of the song
pulsing  - crescendo and decrescendo of background notes with main melody

In the Hall of the Mountain King (Peer Gynt)
-pensive, starts quite then builds and ends in chaos
-sounds sneaky, careful, and mischievous in beginning

ominous - impending chaos
linear - the song keeps same melody, just gets louder and faster
careful - song starts with tense, quiet staccato notes
